Supaman performs for Native Youth!!!

This past weekend Christian Parrish Take The Gun (Crow) aka Supaman performed for Native Youth groups in the Bay Area.  For those of you not familiar with Christian:

Christian Parrish Takes the Gun, professionally known as Supaman, is a Apsaalooke rapper from Seattle, Washington. The child of struggling alcoholics, he spent part of his childhood in foster care before being raised by his mother. He began DJing in the 90s after hearing a Litefoot song (with the two touring together in 1999), taking the name ‘Supaman' at the spur of the moment in a DJ competition. He almost signed to a label in Seattle before a spiritual experience led him to return to his family on the Crow Indian Reservation in the Crow Nation and begin writing Christian-oriented hip-hop. Meeting Christian personally, he's very down to Earth and a people person.  His show is a mixture of music, dance, comedy & motivational lecture.  His presence is very much needed in our Native communities, his message is filled with hope, wonderful stories about overcoming personal hardship and he uses just the right amount of anecdotes to bridge the generations of our young and old.
