On May 12th, 13th, and 14th, Stanford held it's 46th annual powwow. People came from all over to dance and spend time with relatives and friends in the powwow arena. Tom Phillips and Earl Neconie MC'd for all three days and the committee even gave special time to honor our Water Protectors who were present at the powwow. This was also the first year that a Two-Spirit/Pride flag was carried in during Grand Entry.
Many came away from the weekend's powwow saying this was the best year yet. Please enjoy some of the photos I took of the dancers and community members enjoying both intertribals and their category competitions.
