I am heading to Estes Park, CO. with my family in June to take their father, my husband, back to the land where he was at peace with himself. I am looking for someone to perform a farewell ritual to send my late husband off with blessings and bring closure to my children & myself. I would really appreciate any help with this. Thank you.

Daniel Schiffner Jr.

I know my GrandFather on my Dad’s side was full blooded Arapaho, at least that is what we were told on my Grandmother’s death bed. I have no name, I only know we seem to all look very much alike, photo copy alike kind of thing. I know he was with both my Grandmother and her sister, and some blood tests are being done in our family to determine if a cousin is actually a half brother. It is very complicated I know and I need as much help as I can get. He had told them he was the son of a chief, now he could have been telling a tale or it could have been real. I am told my Father was registered with the tribe, his name is Daniel Schiffner and I know that his tribal name was something like black feather, I am not 100% sure. My Grandmother’s name was Francis Schiffner. My Father was born 02/03/1952 and the one that could be his brother by the same man his name is Ron Stitt and his date of birth is 09/28/1952. I am not working with a lot to start with I know, but I have faith. My father has MS and is a nursing home, the Dr’s think there is a good chance I have MS as well since it is genetic. I found a picture of Ralph Dur in a military uniform from 1951, I asked a couple others if they could see resemblances, because I didn’t want my desire to find my Grandfather to cloud the truth. They said they could see different ways we looked a like. Thank you for your time, I know this is only the beginningw.
