Shoot Low – Pow Wow Photo Tips

Shoot Low – Pow Wow Photo Tips

Pow Wow season has started.

Time for everyone to snap photos of friends and family.

Use our series of Pow Wow Photo tips to make your Pow Wow photos more dramatic!

Today's tip – Get Low!

Try photographing the dancers at eye level.  This angle mirrors what we see normally.  Photos at eye level give us the feeling of being a part of the dance.   Most people will shoot from the stands looking down on the dancing.  Going low will give you a more unique look.

Pow Wow Photo Tips

This is especially important with Tiny Tots!  Get down on your knees to photograph straight into their eyes.

For even more dramatic look, get lower!  Shooting up at the dancer will make them look larger than life.
