The Morongo Thunder and Lighting Pow Wow is one of my favorites of the year. The resort is one of the things that I look forward to each year.
The Morongo Casino Resort and Spa is located in Cabazon, California. The resort is one of only 4 AAA four-diamond resort in California. The rooms and service are world class! The casino includes 150,000 square feet of gaming space with over 2,000 slots and table games.
We travel to many places, Morongo is one of the best locations. The landscape is breathtaking, and the resort is amazing. The pool is fantastic.
Then there's the food! From the buffet to the penthouse steakhouse, this is some of the best food choices to have during a Pow Wow! Of course there is also plenty of great food vendors during the Pow Wow.
The Pow Wow is held in an outdoor tent – with air! The casino invested in upgrading the outdoor facilities several years ago. You no longer have to dance in the heat. A tent with AC, a great way to get out of the desert heat.
Morongo Pow Wow is truly an oasis in the desert!
