Anyone know where to find Native American Singles for free? I am a single mom looking for someone to pair up and take my kids around the pow wow circuit in California to start. I am a Northern Fancy Shawl Dancer but my kids haven’t got to experience the intertribal scene. I would like for them to get a chance to figure out what dance style, if any they want to learn. I grew up going with my family to the pow wows every weekend it was like my church. As a person of mixed ethnicity, who does not reside on a reservation; I find it hard to connect with other people that come from similar backgrounds as mine. Even tho I am mixed and was not raised on the Res I still would like my children to know some of the traditions of my heritage. I think I would enjoy it much more if I had someone to go with me that also shared a similar background. Anyone interested please contact me at [email protected]. I am in the San Diego,California and my social resources have become limited since I became a mother and I need some help please.
