Brooke Brady is a wedding and lifestyle photographer, so she has a great knack for capturing the feeling of a special moment. Her photos from the 2014 Shinnecock Pow Wow are absolutely gorgeous and we had to share with you.

Brooke Brady had this to say about the Shinnecock tribe and pow wow, “The Shinnecock tribe is close to my heart because my mom is engaged to the chief of the tribe, Dan Collins. I’ve been running around Powwow since I was little and now you can see what the event looks like through my eyes.”

Take a look and see just what all you might see if you go to the Shinnecock pow wow this year!

Wow! I love that she captured not just the dancers but all the different things you might see at a pow wow, including the detail on all the arts and crafts. Brooke plans on hitting up the pow wow this year, so if you happen to catch her with her camera, say hello!

The 69th Annual Shinnecock Powwow will be held Labor Day Weekend, Friday September 4, 2015 thru Monday September 7, 2015 on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, New York. For more information you can visit the event page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/642636869215049/.
