Pow Wow ‘Reignites the Fire’ at Cambrian College

Cambrian College’s Wabnode Centre for Aboriginal Services and the Cambrian Native Students’ Association (CNSA) held a Pow Wow on March 11 at their Student Life Centre which is located in Sudbury, Ontario. The theme for this year's pow wow was ‘Reigniting The Sacred Fire'. MC was Chris Pheasant, AD was Robert Stoneypoint with Host Drum the Chippewa Travellers and

Co-Host High Eagle. Traditional Drum was Shadaakii and Invited Drums included Black Bull Moose, Young Thunderbirds, Young Biisineh and Odemekwe Singers. Head Veteran was Will Morin, Head Elders Perry and Martina and Head Dancers were Darren and Theresa McGregor & Shauna and Paskwa.

More than 300 elementary and middle school students also attended this great cultural event.
