May 8th-10th marked the 44th Annual Stanford University Powwow in Palo Alto, CA. For many families, attending the Stanford Powwow on Mother's Day weekend has been a yearly tradition. Its a weekend that honors family, our culture, and on Sunday we honor our mothers. Northern Host Drummers were Northern Cree, and Southern Host Drummers were Buc Wild. Tom Phillips and Howie Thomson were the Southern and Northern MCs. It was overall a fantastic weekend. Please enjoy the following photos that I took on Saturday evening and Sunday day.
