Kimber Acosta has recently released her newest book Break Through!

She is Turtle Mountain Chippewa and Cree, and the following statement describes both her work in media and her newest book! 

Author, world renown photographer, producer and news anchor, Kimber Acosta’s new book, “Break Through featuring Kimber Acosta,” consists of inspiring stories by global authorities including co-authors Johnny Wimbrey (Best selling author, international speaker, life coach and television personality); Les Brown (Top global motivational speaker, best selling author and philanthropist); and Nik Halik (#1 best selling author “The 5 Day Weekend” and “The Thrillionaire”). Kimber brings a multicultural approach to her unique worldview; her ethnic background is a mixture of Ojibwe from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, Cree First Nations, French and German.

She has interviewed and photographed Presidents, Tribal Chairmen, Grammy winners, CMT winners, Emmy winners, Nammy winners, PGA golfers and Indy race car drivers. She has covered award shows, tribes, water walkers, pipelines, Indian gaming, murder trials and personal interest stories across Indian Country.

As a published author, motivational speaker, producer, director, news anchor, entertainment host, editor, advertising director, journalist, photographer, solutions authority and online guru, Kimber has been setting trends while expanding her career titles and gaining accolades for three decades. 

She has organized national events across Indian Country, has been a past judge of the Miss Indian World contest at the Gathering of Nations, been a segment producer and photographer for the Native American Music Awards, has sat on non-profit boards like Waadookodaading Ojibwe Immersion Charter School (past President) and Wise Women Gathering Place (past board member) among many others and has been the commencement speaker at a tribal college.
