DJ Shub, formerly of A Tribe Called Red, is a title earning DJ and award winning music producer. He lives in Fort Erie, Ontario and counts two DMC Canada DJ Championship titles (2007 and 2008), a DMC Canadian Battle for Supremacy title (2008), a Canadian Red Bull Thre3style title (2012), and a King of the Dot Canada vs. USA DJ battle win along with trophies from the JUNO Awards and the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards as some of his most notable accomplishments. Phew! This guy is no joke!

In this video for his first single “Indomitable”, we see a day in the life of a pow wow dancer. You'll get all the familiar sights such as the food vendors, kids playing, dancers getting ready and of course pow wow dancing! Classic Roots is the star of the video and the song features six-time Grammy nominated Northern Cree, so you know the drums and singing are going to be on point! Check out this video below and see if you can't stop yourself from dancing along!

If you dug that track then you're going to love DJ Shub's debut solo EP, PowWowStep, which will hit the streets on December 2. And if you're in the Toronto area, make sure you get on down to the release party!
