On the West Steps of California's State Capitol, attendees of the 49th Annual Native American Day were treated to a full day of fun, food, and entertainment. With this year's theme, “Education: Building Tomorrow Through Teachings Today”, the Education Pavilion hosted cultural practitioners who shared their wisdom and culture via mini-lectures and demonstrations throughout the day.

Photographer Paula Schultz was at this special event to document the brilliant speakers and dancers who captivated the crowd.
