Hi, I’m enjoying your powwow drums! when we are in the US soon, where can we find your powwow radio – only online or also as a radion station?
Do you know if there is a powwow in Tucson AZ in December?
    I couldn’t find it -
my husband (American) loves powwow music too!
greetings from Germany – Monika McBride

when I log onto this site, It always begin by having like two or three other groups singing, the same song. or like its in a canyon with real bad echoes. when i go to another part of your site, then it stops. what is this? can it be fixed somehow? I really enjoy your music.

I recently found this site and about lost it!! I haven’t heard these tunes in years. Listening to them now brings tears to my eyes and allows me to relive memories of growing up with my beautiful Unchi with her instilling our values, traditions and pride into my being.
I spoke to my mom yesterday and told her how good I felt when I heard these songs to which she replied “It’s because this is who you are and it only takes hearing them again to make you realize how important our culture is”.
When I listen to ‘white music’, it is only background noise but when our music is playing it makes me feel alive. I see my Unchi’s face smiling down upon me from heaven and I remember her wisdom and realize how lucky I am to have such a beautiful culture and heritage.

I downloaded the app to my iPhone and it played for about 30 minutes. I stopped it to have a conversation and when I tried to make it work again it would not. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times but it still just says it’s “loading” when I press “play”. I paid .99 for this app, not much, but I do expect it to work for longer than a half hour for a dollar!

This type of music is the heart beat of mother earth. It will uplift you, comfort you, and bring peace to your soul. Spent some time in your country when I was younger. My father was assigned to the American Embassy. Walk in Peace.

        February 7, 2013

Hau Rodney thank you for that my friend . it certainly stirs something in the spirit…it is a good feeling and an excellent meditation source (but i think my wife suspects i am losing the plot as we say here..i`m sure you must have heard that expression in your time over here…i have been listening to very little else this past few weeks )
it is good to speak to a fellow traveller i hope your time in Ireland was good to you.and i hope The Great Spirit and The Great Mystery bring you much happiness and many good blessings
        Thanks Friend

    February 14, 2013

Oki, i started listening 3 days ago. I believe my health is strengthening. I used to be part of POW WOWS considerably more than in past years. My spirit has been fighting to keep me strong. Medical doctors cannot help me (in past 3 years), the medication have been stealing my soul(that is how i can explain it) Ive started burning sweet grass regularly ( past 3 days) My commonlaw is going to help me get to a sweat. I believe i was strongest when i was around people that were practising.
People i need to see again are from Piikani Nation, Brocket,Alberta. (Especially a group of Boys who are men now that were the best volleyball team in Southern Alberta years ago. I have the most wonderful common law wife (Loretta), thankyou for the music and your spirituality!!

When I lived in the USA I attended many American and Canadian powwows, for many years. Now I live in Israel where the only Native American I know here is a 100% Inca friend from Ecuador. He knows little of powwows. Thank you for powwow.com Pow Wow Radio, which has supplied something valuable, that has been missing in my life. Ed Davis

Ahoa, migwetch for the wonderful music that you play. I recently came across your site and thank the great spirit, Wakan Tanka that I did. The drumming as known by many is the Heartbeat of Mother Earth. Having recently attended two Pow Wows this year, my spirit soars. My Great Grandfather in his time was a Chief at an Ojibwa Reserve here in Canada . I listen to a wide variety of Native music when I am creating my craft work in my hobby room. Our people will go on for many many moons yet and I find that more people are showing a truly , genuine interest in the Anishabe culture, we are a very talented people, Mitakye Oyasin.

At one time many many years ago I was a fancy dancer and my grandmother, and mother and I did the bead work for my outfit.Unfortunatly I no longer have it.Thank you for keeping our music culture alive. Thank you all who are behind the scenes.I ask the Creator to bless the men and women who keep our music culture alive. Thanks again. Ron

Greetings from the US…Great to see intrest in our culture…Please keep in mind that some of us have been raised in a traditional native home and as such, we have been taught to share very little when it comes to our ceremonies, culture and language(not long ago we were prosecuted for this knowledge), and may raise some issues on how we confide in others…Please keep this in mind when questions arise….We are individual tribes with many wonderful stories that may further aid you in your intellectual journey of healing….respect us as we respect you and your beautiful culture……nativesoncreations

I’ve been listening to the powwow music for past three years, ever since I got my computer. I’ve been to quite a few powwows over past ten years. Was with a drum group, until the drum leader passed. I get tired of listening to the same C.D.’s over and over, and when I found Pow Wow radio, I was estatic. But the past three days, it won’t plaY, SAYS something is outdated, and I have to down load something new. Very disappointing, because I don’t have extra money now, limited income.
