The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow is the largest in North America. The event is attended by over 80,000 people.
At any public event, you need to take precautions for your personal safety.
The Albuquerque Police Department has issued a PSA to help you stay safe during your visit.
Remember to:
- Avoid leaving your vehicle running while unattended.
- Avoid leaving your valuables in your vehicle. Lock them in the trunk.
- Avoid posting your travel plans on social media.
- Never leave children or animals unattended in a running vehicle.
- Always be aware of your surroundings.
