Hall-larious – Native Comedian Tonia Jo Hall

You've probably seen some of her videos passed around online. One of my favorites is her pow wow workout.

According to her Facebook page Tonia Jo Hall is a 25 year old Lakota/Dakota/Hidatsa comedian. She started posting videos to her YouTube account back in 2010 and was encouraged to pursue comedy full time. A lot of her comedy is inspired by her culture and love of pow wows.

And here's some video to prove she's not always a jokester. She can be serious when she needs to. Check her footwork out!

Tonia Jo Hall has recently teamed up with fellow comedians Teresa Choyguha, Deanna M.A.D. and Adrianne Chalepah to create the Ladies of Native Comedy. Hopefully they'll be coming to a spot near you!
