British comedian John Oliver has just become a new Native ally in the fight against the Washington Redskins name debate. He featured the “Proud to Be” commercial that was recently shown during the NBA finals and had this to say:
“For the average American,” he joked, “that ad should tug at 1/16th of your heartstrings and make the rest extremely guilty.”
