Prime Day is underway!
Amazon’s annual shopping extravaganza, also known as Prime Day, kicked off at 3 a.m. ET this morning. Prime Day deals exclusive to Prime members will be live on the site through July 13.
Prime Day has become a global phenomenon for Prime members, who pay $14.99 a month, or $139 for a full year, to access benefits such as free two-day delivery on millions of items. Amazon Prime subscribers purchased over 250 million items worldwide during last year’s Prime Day.
The advertised sales — including up to nearly 80% off certain items — are intermixed with special “Lightning Deals.” These offers feature limited stock items for a low price for either a limited time or while the supply lasts. After you add these items to your cart, you have 15 minutes to click “Purchase” before they expire.
