  1. Thank you, National Association of Nurses. You paid for our Navajo Veterans group to travel to Standing Rock. Our mission, to protect the water protectors from government troops, and police. We, soldiers, marines, airmen and sailors heeded the call for military veterans to stand against those who abused power. We, veterans don’t need to take abuse from our own govt we will return if needed. ๐Ÿ–‘โœŠ

I am a Yerington Paiute tribal member from Yerington,NV.
    Paiute/Yankton Sioux
My father is/was a Yankton Sioux tribe,Wagner,South Dakota.
I’m writing Adam To ask him to help us,Yerington Paiute tribe and tribal members address the Water problems we have from the Andacconda mine that the state of Nevada is supposed to put on their #1 priority list.
The mine is from the 60s and for the last 40+ years it’s toxic ,uriaum, and other toxins have contaminated our wells and water. Our colony is the original tribes location and we are the ones who are the ones who are not being helped .
I’ve recently been told I have ovarian cancer and I’m a single parent of 13 year old twin girls, I am trying to be strong and not show that I’m really scared. My sister Leah is listing her eye sight and there are many tribal members who have had cancer or list their lives to cancer.
We need to address this and bring it forward Adam please help .
    Thank you Valerie J.Picotte

If that’s your land stick up for your rights . I would stick with you all the way. The government is trying to get rid of all of the reservations. And they need to leave all of the native American alone and let them live their life. I am also have native American in me. So fight for what’s yours.
