White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers and More!

I wish these videos were longer, but they're still awesome to watch! The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico hosted a special event during 2014 Balloon Fiesta Week. Haaku Buffalo Dancers of Acoma Pueblo, the Southern Slam Dancers of Zia Pueblo and the White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers were all there to share their traditional dances.

Thanks for making me feel homesick for the Southwest. Will have to plan a trip to New Mexico and Arizona next year!

I like the featured dancers, their attire is more like real for our people, powwow has become so commercial, and over done. seriously
