I've seen some blacklight/dayglo hoop dancing before, but haven't seen the bright LED hoops being used yet!
Now in it's third year, Glowfair transforms Ottawa’s retail district into a “non-stop celebration of cutting edge music, mesmerizing entertainment and dazzling street performers”.
At the festival this year, Theland Kicknosway kicked up his hoop dancing a notch by using LED hoops and wearing shoes with the same LED lights.
According to his bio Theland Kicknosway is Wolf Clan, Potawatami and Cree, and is a member of Walpole Island in Southern Ontario. He is a self-described “helper, traditional singer/drummer, hoop/grass dancer, ceremonial support when needed and supported & loved Indigenous youth leader.”
Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
