Warrior Status Fashion – Looking Fierce!

Posted By Toyacoyah Brown August 7th, 2014 Last Updated on: August 7th, 2014

Have you seen these awesome designs from Warrior Status Fashion? The woman behind these beautiful earrings, belts, etc. is Sun Rose Iron Shell (Sicangu/Oglala Lakota). She received her education from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and graduated with a BA in museum studies and a BFA in studio arts. But, she has been making her own pow wow regalia for years.

You can currently find her jewelry and other accessories online at Beyond Buckskin. I sure wouldn't be mad if anyone bought me this necklace and earring set.

To see her work in person you can head on over to the First Annual Indigenous Fine Art Market (IFAM) August 21-23, 2014 in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she'll be taking part in a fashion show with other indigenous designers.

If you like what you see, you can find her on Facebook at Warrior Status Fashion.
