Oklahoma City's Red Earth Festival is one of 20 finalists in the USA TODAY 10Best Art Festival competition.
In case you're not familiar with the Red Earth Festival, it is an annual event where dancers and artists converge in Oklahoma City for a celebration of Indigenous culture and art. There are many opportunities to purchase one of a kind jewelry, baskets, pottery, sculptures, and paintings from some of the most talented artists in the nation. And don't forget the pow wow! The Red Earth Fancy Dance Competition ranks among the most prestigious competitions of its kind.
