Serious squad goals right here!
You might remember us sharing a viral video last month of some lovely ladies singing on their way to the round dance. Well, they've made a whole new batch of videos and they're just as awesome as the first one we saw!
So just who are these lovely ladies? They go by the name of Pretty Indian Girls (P.I.G.S) and their group includes lead singer Judy Starr (Cree), Raeleena Dawson (Haida), Candace Gadwa (Kehewin Cree Nation), Trisha Goodwill (Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation) and Desirae Desnomie (Peepeekisis Cree Nation).
From their bio on Facebook:
The Pretty Indian Girls started out as friends heading to Rounddances. They are back-up singers and love to spread their positive energy and vibes! On their way to YoungBear Rounddance they made a video to a Judy Starr original called “Home Sweet Home” with no intention of posting it or becoming a singing group… However, Trisha Goodwill decided to post the video and it took off from there, many people requested they made more videos of them singing and Judy had songs readily available for herself and the girls to learn and perform. Since then, they have been going to rounddance to rounddance singing and creating buzz.
We're so glad you shared the video! No need to keep all that talent to yourselves! Here are a couple more videos that they've shared in the last month.

Wow! I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of these girls in the coming year.
Make sure you check out their Facebook page for more songs and info on when they might be singing in your town!

My earlier post should have mentioned I am enrolled Tlingit and didn’t mean to leave my sister Raeleena Dawson (Haida) out.
