I had so much fun judging the Clothing Competition at the Navajo Nation Fair this weekend along with Radmilla Cody and @saharspice! 💃🏻💕✨It was AMAZING to see what everyone came up with!! 😱💕 Could you imagine buying all your clothes locally/Native made? 💁🏻‍♀️💕✨ There was some serious talent and its always nice catching up with my favorite native designers!! 💕💕Congratulations to Cynthia Trujillo who won 1st place for her gorgeous floral scarf dress. The details on the neckline were so intricate, I’ve never seen it before!! 👗💐 I need it!! 💕💕 A huge thank you to @marcoarviso and @ahshibeauty for the invitation and for being such gracious hosts!! 👏🏽💕💕 I got so many compliments on my outfit. The belt is by @designsby_della from last years fashion show! 🌈✨ Go check out my IG stories before they disappear! 💕 #azblogger #nativefashion #fancynavajos #livecolorfully #dresscolorfully #buynative #nnf2018

Alana was born and raised in New Mexico and shares her love of food and fashion on her blog, along with her Outfit of the Day! She incorporated her Diné culture in her fashion and her food, empowering her readers to embrace their culture through their hobbies.

My favorite part of her blog is how she uses her space and audience to lift other native businesses along with her. This is a trend I have been noticing throughout the native community on social media, an active pursuit to lift up each other and bring support for native-owned businesses.
