Wow wow wow! I don't usually have my nails all done up, but this has me rethinking that. Not an every day look of course, but for a special occasion these are amazing. This beautiful nail art comes from Leanne Helin, a First Nations native of the Tsimshian Tribe of Lax Kw'alaams North Coast BC, Canada. She is a skilled jeweler who makes bracelets, earrings and rings. But these nail totems are something I have never seen anyone do.

Here are just a couple examples of what she can create:

Leanne has been creating these one of a kind custom fit finger and toe nails since 1990. These nails are obviously reusable with the proper care. Once applied, they are said to stay on for 3 weeks. The nails are custom fit to the individual with Tsimshian crest or any other modern design.

Prices start at $65.00 – $85 for silver nails and $135.00 – $350.00 for gold nails. Contact Leanne at http://www.leannehelin.com/contact.html for more information on how you can get these works of art in your life.
