Scenes from the 70th Annual Shinnecock Powwow

The 70th Annual Shinnecock pow wow was held over Labor Day weekend in Southampton, New York and is one of the largest Native American Gatherings on the East Coast. Folks from all over come and enjoy the sights, sounds and tasty treats that this pow wow has to offer.

The pow wow also served as a muse for these gorgeous videos courtesy of Lighthouse Films. These two videos, shot at the Shinnecock Pow Wow, capture each dancer's grace and beauty.

And this film shows the Tlacopan Aztec Dancers with scenes from grand entry interspersed throughout. Makes for a unique energy and feel!
