Sacheen Littlefeather Tells Her Story – Oscar Speech For Marlon Brando

During the 1973 Oscar ceremony Marlon Brando boycotted the event.  He sent Sacheem Littlefeather in his place.  She accepted the Oscar for Best Actor for Brando's role in Godfather.  She then spoke about the treatment of Natives at the time especially the Wounded Knee occupation.  With the current Oscar controversy many people have been looking back at her speech from 1973.

Recently Littlefeather told her story of that night.
