British-born and New York-based director Keeley Gould wanted to capture a portrait of contemporary Native American culture, so what better place to capture this beautiful footage than the Gathering of Nations? This footage is from the 31st annual Gathering of Nations and is interwoven with interview excerpts about pow wow life.

Breathtaking, right? I think Gould definitely captured the essence of the event!
This short documentary was shared on NOWNESS, a video channel that showcases contemporary culture through film.
