Powwow Driveway – A Hilarious Tribute to the Cult Classic

All right, how many of you guys wore out your VHS copy of Powwow Highway? The 1989 film was a hit in our house and I know I'd watch it any time I saw it pop up on TV. It's a classic buddy/roadtrip movie that anyone can enjoy.

Back in 2010, a group of friends got together to pay homage to the classic movie with their version entitled Powwow Driveway. The short film was directed and produced by Helen Haig-Brown (Tsilhqot'in), Gabrielle Hill (Métis) and Stacey Bishop.

Watch the full 15 minute version and let us know if they did a good job or not!
