The Pala Band of Mission Indians recently held their 7th Annual Honoring Traditions Pow Wow in Pala, California. Photographer Perry Haines was there to capture some of the colorful regalia on display. Haines is currently working on a book project entitled “Portraits of Diversity” which will be a collection of portraits of beautiful people from all parts of the world. “I have also always wanted to create a book entitled “Native American Beauty” to honor the beautiful Native American people,” Haines said.
Let's take a look at some of that beauty below:
Absolutely stunning! So many brilliant colors.
Photographer Perry Haines welcomes anyone to come and participate in a photo session for any of his photo projects. Participants will receive digital copies of the images on a CD at no cost. If interested, please contact Haines via website www.perryphoto.com or email at [email protected] He is also open to volunteering with Native American pow wow groups with his photography skills.
