    Paul,
Thank you so much for these informative articles. They are very well written and keep my attention. It’s fun reading about St Paul, Minnesota’s Native Pride Production’s Larry Yazzi of Iowa. (Anyone just clicking on the page to get their points are missing really good information.) I do get distracted by the side articles so its taking me quite awhile to get through the list! My favorite side articles so far are about Astronaut Nicole Anapu Mann and Artist Linda Hinojos.
As I’ve been reading, I’ve had in the back of my mind my long time concern as a non-Native American about “fake” Native American jewelry, rugs, clothing , and other items seen on websites that sell discount items. Many of these sites originate in other countries but some are in the USA. I remembered reading years ago regarding an act prohibiting the sale of non-authentic Native American items. i just couldn’t recall the specifics. Your article on the jewelry discussed this.
My question now is, what can I do as a consumer to notify the Authorities that this law is being broken and by whom. And, should I as a concerned consumer contact the company to let them know they are violating the law or allow the authorities to do their part?

I appreciate the giveaway, but you have made this particular giveaway very tedious, in my opinion. I am not a fan of this new format at all. 24 Hour entry instead of daily is absolutely awful and all of the long videos to watch daily to get more entries is too much and way too time consuming. Why make us watch the same videos over and over again every single day? The videos should be a one-time entry instead of daily. I hope you will consider changing this for the next giveaway.

I attended my first Pow Wow in Bel Air Maryland. It was awesome!
Hearing the drums and the singing brought tears to my eyes, literally!
I felt the spiritual connection with my people.
I have been researching my family heritage and was told by my mom that are family is mixed with two or three different Native American tribes .
I believe I was lead to your Pow a wow website to help my find the answers of my heritage.

Hello. I am a little confused. I thought that the contest going on right now is the Pendleton Blanket giveaway, not “Eighth Generation Giveaway” as it says in the subject line of the email newsletter I got today. There is also no place on the 44 ways to enter that takes codes. Am I missing something? Love this site BTW. I have learned and unlearned so much!

I appreciate these giveaway contests, although I’m not a huge fan of this new format. I like the previous one, looking for bonus points as it’s like being on a scavenger hunt, making it fun to do. Anything longer than a couple of weeks can become mundane as people have limited time in their lives due to work, family obligations, etc…..
Anyway, I see people commenting their love for the blankets, which I love as well, but the mugs are beautiful, and look to be of good quality, I think they deserve to be appreciated just as much…….
I enjoyed watching the video on Sampson Sixkiller Sinquah, he seems to be a happy and gentle soul, someone who could be a great friend to all. His talent is amazing!
That’s my 2 cents worth…… I appreciate the great job this organization has done and all it has offered towards education about Native Americas and indigenous people, I truly enjoy being a part of Powwow.com!
