Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Daniel is a young professional currently living in Washington, DC and working for the Administration for Native Americans. She is a member of the Kul Wicasa Oyate/Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and is a huge advocate for Natives, in particular our youth. She has been competitively running since she was 10 and idolizes her grandfather, Nyal Brings Three White Horses, who just so happens to have run alongside Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills.
She recently announced her plans to run in the upcoming Boston Marathon! Read more about her story!
I am jumping back into the competitive running circuit after taking a year off to focus more on my career. Now I’m excited to be training and to be participating in two big upcoming races: NYC United Airlines Half Marathon in March then the 120th Boston Marathon where I will be join 4 other Team Running Strong runners. Billy Mill’s organization, Running Strong for American Indian Youth is based in Alexandria, VA. All donations will be towards benefiting our Native youth. The fundraising requirement is $5,000 but my goal is $6,500 and the deadline is June 30, 2016! I’m honored to represent this team as well as my own I created, Team 1ndigenous and to run for our Native youth! My dream since I was young, was to come to DC and advocate for Indian Country and help elevate our voice! And I'm happy to raise awareness through my running as well!

Good luck and we can't wait to cheer on all the Team 1ndigenous and Team Running Strong athletes!
