Macaw Parrot – Beaded Native American Church Peyote Prayer Fan – Round
Upon for auction is another one of my beautiful beaded peyote round barrel prayer fans made with 16 feathers. The center feather is 2 golden pheasant feathers, back to back, 1 Blue and Gold Macaws, 9 military macaws, 2 Lady Amherst and 2 African pheasant feathers. This type of fan is rarely even offered on Ebay and this is the 4th I have offered in the past 15 years, love these fans. I'm a military veteran made and I tried to get my hands on as many as I can for this particular fan. As you well know, perfect feathers are not cheap and each of these feathers are at least a number 9 or 10. This fan took 46 hours to complete. The feather work is done in solid colors of yellow and light orange to match the beautiful peyote beaded handle. The handle is done in #13 cut beads to add to that beautiful sparkle off the light. The fan from the top of the feathers to the bottom of the screw in ferrel is 16 1/2 inches, the handle is 3 1/2″ long making the total lenght of 19 1/2 inches. The handle has 6″ of twisted leather fringe. Absolutely perfect and you won't be disappointed for the price. The handle screws off for easy storage in your gourd box. Here is an opportunity to own a very long lasting fan, as the first one I even made was 15 years ago and is still going strong. I have received so many comments over the years on the original one, I continued to make them and they are rare. Payment arrangements can also be made, if interested, just shoot me an email.
