It's Native American Heritage Month and its been great seeing all the posts about Natives doing amazing things out there! I recently watched this short documentary about five Native American ballerinas from Oklahoma who achieved international prominence during the 20th century. They are Yvonne Chouteau (Shawnee), Rosella Hightower (Choctaw), Moscelyne Larkin (Peoria/Shawnee), and sisters Maria Tallchief (Osage) and Marjorie Tallchief (Osage).
Take a look at their amazing stories below!
