She's made you laugh with her hilarious brand of comedy, and she's danced her way into your hearts on the pow wow circuit. Now's our chance to show a little love to Tonia Jo Hall as she prepares for the Gathering of Nations this year. As Head Lady Dancer, she has the honor of hosting a special dance, which of course will be a Contemporary Women’s Jingle Special. She recently set up a Go Fund Me page to help make this year's special a great one.

My name is Tonia Jo Hall and I represent the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and The Three Affiliated Tribes. I am raising two beautiful girls and I am proud to be their mother. In 2013, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Native American Studies and an eminent scholar credential to teach the Lakota Language. In the midst of pursuing a degree I found a passion for comedy which I am currently pursuing it full-time. In addition for my passion for comedy I have been deeply rooted in the powwow community as a jingle dress dancer. My daughter and I travel across United States and Canada and thoroughly enjoy it.
In April, the highlight of our year is the Gathering of Nations powwow which is the biggest in United States. This year I was blessed to be selected for the head lady dancer. As a part of my responsibility I will be hosting a contemporary jingle dress special and give away. In the recent events of my move to Kansas and traveling for my comedy business I am reaching out to family and friends for additional support. I will be using the funds received for prize money, jackets, trophies, and give away items. I feel honored to have this opportunity to be the head lady for Gathering of Nations powwow. I am beyond excited for April to come. I would greatly appreciate the support. I am thankful for all the friends and extended family I have made in my journey on the powwow trail and will continue to meet new people. Whatever you can offer to help will go a long ways.

says:I don’t think this is a good thing
Maybe you shouldn’t go if you are unable to
Fund this I do believe thay ask in advance so that you would be able to prepare but asking people for $8,000 is a little ridiculous
