The Jingle Dress Movie recently premiered in December to a packed house at the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis. Did any of you catch it? If not, let's catch you up with a trailer for the movie.

The film also generated a lot of buzz when it was nominated for six awards at The 39th Annual American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show put on by the American Indian Film Institute.

☆ Best Director – William Eigen (“The Jingle Dress”)
☆ Best Supporting Actress – S'Nya Sanchez-Hohenstein (Cast as Role of “Rose”)
☆ Best Actress – Stacey Thunder (Cast as Role of “Elsie”)
☆ Best Actor – Chaske Spencer (Cast as Role of “John Red Elk”)
☆ Best Supporting Actor – Steve Reevis (Cast as Role of “Buff”)

In case you missed the sold out premiere back in December, fear not. Another screening is happening Friday, February 6, 2015 at 7 PM & 9 PM CDT at the St. Anthony Main Theatre, 115 Main Street, SE, in Minneapolis, MN.
