The Future Looks Bright with This Young Native Activist

Although Nizhoni Ward has grown up away from her Navajo culture in Chicago, she is still very much involved with it.

She was crowned as the American Indian Center (AIC) Jr. Miss Indian Chicago back in 2013 and was featured in Indian Country Today back in 2015 where she had recently received the 2015-2016 Illinois Royalty Queen title in the Pre-Teen 10-12-year-old division. Way to go Nizhoni!
