Posted By Paul G October 17th, 2012 Last Updated on: October 17th, 2012

From eBay –

Your are bidding on a nice Reproduction set of 1880 Sioux style leggins and matching moccasins. The leggins are beaded with antique beads from the late 1800's to about 1920's. The colors are Cheyenne blue, Cranberry red, white, yellow, blue and green. The bead work is a typical Lakota design. They are sinew made and beaded on brain tan deer hide. The moccasins are a Us sice 8,5 to 9. In inches they are 10 1/4 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide. The have the same colors like the leggins plus some metal beads, so they are matching. Also sinew sewn on brain tan deer hide. The sole are made out of deer rawhide. They also shown no use so they look like brand new. Both item have no bead or other damage at all. This set is traditionally and very well made. My wife is a Rosebud Sioux Lakota and she wore them only a few times at Pow Wows.
This set is not Native made it is a reproduction of traditional Lakota woman's leggins and moccasins.

Hello, I do not like to bid for things. I would purchase the moccasins if they were simply offered for sale.
