DiCaprio Visits First Nations, Does Ice Bucket Challenge

Leonardo DiCaprio was visiting Fort Chipewyan in Alberta, Canada last week to do some research for an upcoming documentary about the Canadian tar sands. While in Canada he was challenged by David Beckham to do the “ice-bucket challenge”. Being the good sport that he is, he accepted the challenge and was also joined by Chipewyan Chief Allan Adam and Mikisew Cree Chief Steve Courtoreille. On behalf of the people of the Fort Chipewyan First Nations, Leonardo's foundation has donated $100,000 to the ALS Association. Watch all the fun below!

In case you missed it, Chipewyan Chief Allan Adam challenged Dave Collyer, the president of the Calgary-based Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers; Mikisew Cree Chief Steve Courtoreille challenged Suncor executive Mark Little;and Sierra Club president Michael Brune challenged Ben van Beurden, the chief executive of Shell.

Way to bring attention to both causes Leo!
