The third annual Miss Native American USA Pageant was held this past Friday, August 1, 2014 in Tempe, Arizona. There were nine contestants and April Yazza, a 19-year-old Fort Lewis College Student from Durango, Colorado was the winner. Yazza of the Zuni Pueblo and Navajo (Dine') Tribes from Mentmore, New Mexico is studying Graphics Design with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
