I,m glad they are keeping it going,Whorly is not that far to drive,I never miss the pow wow so am looking forward to it.

I was totally bummed about the cancellation of the Julyamsh PowWow at the Greyhound Park. I was hoping they could hold it at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds instead but now I see they’re opting for holding it in Worley, which is 30 minutes south of Coeur d’Alene. Perhaps the tribe prefers to move it to reservation lands, which I understand, but that’s pretty far off the beaten path for the many thousands of folks who enjoy being spectators at this event and shoppers at the various vendors. I suppose it will be most convenient to hold this in conjunction with the casino/resort owned by the tribe and located in Worley.
