The leaves are changing colors and the nights are getting cooler. That means the Pow Wow season starts winding down for the year and we all finally get a chance to sit back and reflect on all the good times we had dancing, singing and enjoying each other's company. But that pow wow feeling doesn't have to completely go away. PowWows.com has started producing a weekly podcast called Pow Wow Life that interviews singers, dancers and other movers and shakers of the pow wow world. Take a look at some of the first episodes that have already aired.
Episode 1 with Fawn Wood – Award-winning Cree/Salish singer
Episode 2 with JR Lonelodge – A member of the Southern Arapaho and Southern Cheyenne Tribes of Oklahoma who hosts Making Regalia on Cheyenne and Arapaho TV.
Episode 3 with Wayne Silas Jr. – A champion Fancy Dancer who also sings!
Upcoming guests include Willow Jack Abrahamson, Patrick Brooks and Lisa Meeches, the Executive Director for the Manito Ahbee Festival.
Check back each week to hear new episodes!
