We're seeking talented, quirky, fun and entertaining kids from all over the world – and especially your area!
Does this sound like anyone you know? Then don't be shy! Learn more on how to submit a video below!
What I need from each child submitting is:
NOTE: Make sure your child is “CAMERA READY”. THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED THEIR FIRST APPEARANCE. NOT JUST AN “AUDITION” OR “INTERVIEW” PIECE. THIS IS THE FIRST THING THE EXECUTIVES WILL SEE OF YOUR CHILD. MAKE SURE THEY LOOK THEIR ABSOLUTE BEST.
They don't necessarily have to be head-shots or commercial photos. I'd like to see snapshots of normal, everyday life photos AND OF COURSE PHOTOS THAT SHOW WHAT THEIR TALENT IS.
2. Video Clips
I'd like to get some cute video of the child showcasing their talent and their adorable personality. Home video from your phones work great. NOTE: When recording on your phone, make sure you ALWAYS hold your phone horizontally çè (landscape) and NOT vertically é(portrait). When you film vertically é( (portrait), it cuts the picture off and makes those ugly, black margins.
3. Submission Video
Create a SHORT PERSONALITY VIDEO (try to keep it under 5 minutes!) REMEMBER, YOU WANT TO GRAB OUR ATTENTION HERE! You can have as much fun as you want with this! Be fun, goofy, lively…whatever shows their personality best! Be REAL SHOW US YOUR REAL PERSONALITY. Don’t be fake.
NOTE: When addressing Mr. Steve Harvey, please have your child address him as “Mr. Steve Harvey” or “Mr. Harvey. This makes them sound so cute!
Start with a fun and lively introduction (slate)
Then have them tell us their… Make sure they speak loudly and clearly and SMILE!!! J
Have them explain (make sure they have LOTS of energy!):
•How they first become interested in this talent? How long have they been doing it for? How old were they when they first started? Why do they love it?
•Tell us about some of your notable accomplishments and amazing accolades.
Give us a home tour…
•Have them tell us a story about the funniest thing that has ever happened to them!
•Give a shout out to Mr. Steve Harvey! Suggest an act where their talent can incorporate Mr. Harvey with them! (EXAMPLE: If they sing, do a duet with him, if they dance challenge Mr. Harvey to a dance off, etc…)
•At the end of the video have them give ANOTHER introduction (now that they're more warmed up and comfortable! They should have LOTS of energy doing this! Really grab our attention!)
DON’T FORGET TO HAVE LOTS OF ENERGY!!! SMILE AND LAUGH A LOT! HAVE FUN WITH THIS!
REMEMBER, YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE TO GRAB OUR ATTENTION!
*These are just suggestions to touch on in the video, use them at your own discretion. This video is to help us get a sense of their personality so have
them talking in a setting where they feel comfortable and have them talk about stuff that showcases their awesome personality! Looking forward to seeing your videos! Best of luck!
