It's really amazing to see all this beauty coming out of such an ugly fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline. As I scroll through my social media timeline I see that many photographers, videographers, writers, etc. are helping to document and lift up the voices of the people at Standing Rock. This video from the “Voices of Standing Rock” Facebook page is just one of many that I have seen and really connected with.
Since mid August 2016, thousands have set up camp near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in North Dakota. They stand in opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline and its planned crossing of the Missouri River. This is the largest gathering of Native Americans in over 100 years. Many plan to make this their home until DAPL is stopped.

says:I offer tobacco, and pray every day at sunrise and sunset, and a lot in between, that the relatives at Standing Rock can feel my heart and Spirit with them. I wish I could be there, and feel guilty every day that I am not there. Unfortunately, I have a full time job and a car that is on its last legs. I am doing all I can to spread the truth about the Warriors on the front lines on my facebook page……(look for Dan Miller in Wilmington, Ohio….you will find me). Love, peace and success be with you all! Mitakuye Oyasin, A’ho!

says:Stay strong brothers and sisters, there are many of us around the world, who cannot be there in person with you, but our spirits and our hearts will never leave you, I am not fully understanding why I have tears in my eyes as I write this, very hard to find the words, I want all of you at Standing rock to know that my heart is open to you, and that I love each and everyone of you.
