I have friends in Naimo , BC who live near aboriginal families. They are always sharing extra food items with their neighbors. My niece has traced her family geneolgy back to the time of Pocohantis (?) and discovered her relationship to her. So much of what was once lost is coming back to enjoy and learn from. I appreciate this site very much.
My first visit to this site. Well worth watching on this cold Indiana day.
Never have I been touched by a video so much the words come from wisdom and must be from a very wise elder.Thank you for making my day better by your words.Although I am not 100 percent native that part of me that is ,is very strong in spirit and believes that these words are true.Some times I am so ashamed of my white blood and all the atrocities commited by my ancestors and is still going on today.Please forgive us because it is true we do not know what we do.I will ask MOTHER EARTH to forgive me and mine for our sins against her and her children.
