B. Yellowtail Teams Up Creative Natives to Make a Stunning Video

Bethany Yellowtail (Northern Cheyenne/Apsáalooke) is a talented fashion designer who puts her own special twist on Native American designs, giving them an updated look for high fashion and modern times. She recently released her first collection on her own B. Yellowtail label called “Mighty Few”, a tribute to the Mighty Few District located on the southern part of the Crow reservation where she grew up.

To celebrate the launch of her new collection, she enlisted the help of many talented Natives to create a video and showcase the work. The models are Jade Willoughby (Whitesand First Nation) and Martin Sensmeier (Tlingit/Koyukon/Athabascan), photography by Thosh Collins (Onk Akimel O'Odham/Wah-Zah-Zi/Haudenosaunee) and finally Artistic Director & Producer Tazbah Rose Chavez (Nüümü/Diné) who also does spoken word in the piece.

Beautiful work right? I'm pretty much in love with that “Duusshile” Maxi Dress.
