Atlanta Dream Hosts Native American Nights This Weekend!

If you're Native, you are most likely familiar with Atlanta Dream basketball player Shoni Schimmel. In her rookie year she earned the 2014 WNBA All-Star MVP, which is pretty amazing since she was not a starter for the Atlanta Dream at that time. It was her legion of Native American fans who voted her in to the All-Star game. Natives know a good thing when they see it!

As part of their Heritage Series, WNBA's Atlanta Dream will host its popular Native American Weekend for the June 19, 2015 game against Chicago Sky and the June 21, 2015 game against New York Liberty.

Inside Stuff recently visited with All-Star Shoni Schimmel and asked her who her main inspiration was.

For more information on tickets for the Native American Weekend see flyer above, or call coordinator Andrea Williams at (678) 510-7389. We'll be cheering for you Shoni!
