The 2013 Miss Indian World Pageant will be held April 23-27, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. We are looking for all eligible young Native American women between the ages of 18-25 yrs, single (not married) and no children. The Contestants will compete for the Title of Miss Indian World and serve as an International Ambassador for all Native people in North America.

The Miss Indian World Pageant is the largest and most prestigious cultural pageant for young Native Women. Each contestant will compete in the areas of: Public Speaking, Personal Interview, Traditional Presentation, Dance & Essay. Each category is judged based on the contestants' own cultural knowledge. Miss Indian World will spend her year *traveling extensively throughout the USA, Canada and Internationally. She will have an opportunity to share her cultural and tribal traditions with other communities both Native and non-Native, meet individuals from Tribal leaders to school age children.

As Miss Indian World, she will become a role model to young and old and help to educate and demonstrate the beauty and diversity of Native American culture as well as represent the Gathering of Nations throughout her travels. *Travel may be more or less than previous years depending on requests.
