The Morongo Pow Wow is one of the highlights of the Pow Wow Season. The Pow Wow takes place in the beautiful Southern California area. Hosted by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, the event features contest dancing and singing from dancers across the US and Canada. Morongo also features Bird Singing and Dancing. Bird Singing is the dance style from the tribes in this area of the US. This year's Pow Wow will also feature a Peon Games contest.
The event is held at the tribe's Morongo Casino Resort and Spa. The resort is a 5 diamond AAA rated destination. The resort features luxury rooms, world-class gaming, and dining. Families will enjoy the Oasis pool that includes a zero entry pool, lazy river, and private cabanas.
