Musical artists from a diverse array of Indigenous tribes and nations have been nominated for awards in a variety of categories.  “To be  nominated for an album I dedicated  to my  grandparents  twice this year, both  US and Canada, now is an honor for all the people I do it for,” announced White Elk about his nomination.  “This Aboriginal Nomination is for all nations.”

Nominees echoed with similar enthusiasm as they encouraged fans to support their favorite entertainers.  Utilizing social media and traditional PR, artists reach out to engage fans in a “Promote Your Vote” campaign.  “We are in major crunch time,” according to APCMA Manager Jacquie Black.
